Fadel K. Jabr
Was born in southern Iraq in 1960.
He graduated from the Translation Department of al- Mustansiryah University in Baghdad.
Jabr has two books of poetry in Arabic, Athariyun (Archaeologists) Amman, Jordan 1997 and Haliman a’borun Nashid(Dreamily I Cross the Anthem) Beirut, Lebanon 1993).
In 1992, Jabr won al- Aqlam(Pens) literary journal’s prize for poetry.
His poems appeared in many regional and international newspapers, journals, and anthologies.
He’s lived in the US since 1998.
